RE: Fall Tour Dates
I wrote a longer post....but deleted it cause....you know
Anyways, the shorter version, most of these venues don't have two control stations, I could be wrong, but I think lighting and audio are overseen from the same spot.
All 3 of Haley's tour managers I met on Better & WTS tours were at what I know to be the sound board during the shows. It's possible the lighting was controlled by Haley's engineers while overseeing the audio as well (they know the songs and the set list, when, where, what to hightlight), limited by whatever lighting system the venue has set up. Overall, the lighting during WTS was darker, in general, than the lighting during Better tour.
The times I know the lighting was controlled by the venue was at Durty Nellies and BGDays, non 'tour' shows.
I'm just saying, unless someone knows for sure Haley uses the venue's lighting engineers during her tour, it's possible that she brought her own people to control how she sounds as well as the lighting on stage, as well as it being cheaper (probably a charge to use the venue's engineer) & you have more control of your presentation.... ? The darker, more moody ambiance might be what Haley asked them to do.... White Rabbit for instance, a lot of the time, Haley is bathed in intense bright lights of red, green and blue.....

RE: Fall Tour Dates
I'll take your word for it, but as far as 'extra people' as far as I could tell, Haley's tour manager ran the boards on all 3 tours, and there was another guy, can't remember his name, hispanic, maybe a friend of Haley's, he did alot of the stage set up, including equipment, and lastly, a merch person, Angie in Europe and two different people during the WTS tour, one was a friend of Ray's, the 2nd half they used another person I hadn't met, Hannah?.... I didn't see any 'extra' unless they were guests at the shows I attended...here's a snapshot of the basic group that toured
The guy on the left was the tour manager, the guy on the right w/ the beard was one of her engineers that also worked both Better Tours and WTS. As far as I could tell, Haley had those two as engineers....they may have had one or two 'roadies' to help w/ equipment

RE: Fall Tour Dates
Turns out my observations were correct. I DMd Dylan the question of who does their lighting?
“Hi Dylan, a question came up I hoped you can answer. During WTS tour, did you guys bring your own engineer to coordinate stage lighting for the shows, or did you use the venue's on site engineer? Thanks”
Dylan:
“Our sound engineer also did some of the lights for most shows.”

I would guess one of the venues they didn’t do the lighting was in Atlanta as they had complex lighting patterns and filters as witnessed by Emily Butler’s photographs
