Medlock-Krieger All-Star Concert benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
The Medlock-Krieger All-Star Concert benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will host our club ride on Aug 12th. Representatives from St. Jude will be able to sign you up to the epic Rock & Roll show at Saddlerock Ranch on Sunday, Aug 27th.

Join Scott Medlock, an internationally renowned sports artist, and Robby Krieger, legendary guitarist for The Doors for a star studded concert at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu benefitting the lifesaving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. On Sunday, August 27, guests will enjoy the breathtaking backdrop at Saddlerock Ranch and an evening of gourmet tastings from Mastro’s Steakhouse, Pierre’s Catering, Malibu Family wines, premier cocktails and unforgettable performances during the 10th anniversary concert featuring Robby Krieger among other legendary artists.

Ann and Nancy Wilson had a falling out over an incident involving Ann's husband and Nancy's twin teenage sons.* Ann has been soloing. Nancy has a new band:

*They asked to see Ann's new tour bus, didn't close the door behind them as told and some dogs escaped. Ann's 66-yr-old husband grabbed one of the boys by the throat and a fight ensued. He was arrested for assault. Ann felt like it should have remained a family matter.

Nancy Wilson of Heart has a new band with former Prince backing vocalist Liv Warfield, Roadcase Royale, and the group is set to release its debut studio album, First Things First, on Sept. 22.

Roadcase Royale is a treat for Heart fans, as the group also features keyboard player Chris Joyner and drummer Ben Smith. Guitarist Ryan Waters, known for his work with Prince, is also in the band.

"Roadcase Royale is a band I've always wanted to be in," Wilson said in a statement. "We all write and create songs as a unit. It's an inspired democracy. Liv and Ryan both bring a whole new level of magic to our new sound."

She continued, "I'm amazed after devoting my life to rock music how it now feels so brand new. That's why our first album is called First Things First."

I think this is the guy they have to be their 'Jim Morrison" (disucussed upstream in this thread), Dave Brock. He says he sings w/ Krieger when he's not w/ his band ("Wild Child" which sounds like a Doors cover band?).... a bit spacey

Can't say I was impressed with the accompaniment Haley received on BHS but she did her part. She probably has a lot of fun hobnobbing with some of the old school rockers. Some of those folks were big doings back in the day.
