She’s good.  The song is called Silver Springs, not Dreams though.  It first appeared on Lindsay and Stevie’s first album,, long before Fleetwood Mac. After being sung in their 97 Reunion tour, it has become a crowd favorite.  Silver Springs and Storm are two of my favorite

Okay.  Well I love her voice. She sounds so much like Stevie in her early days on Silver Springs. Stevie always says that she didn’t get to have kids so all the music babies are her kids. I am sure she would embrace Haley!

It seems to me, the greatest popular music singer in the Western Hemisphere these days is Haley Reinhart. You’re astonishing. The phrasing, dynamics, the flood of linked musical ideas in the way you sing, the timbre of your voice—-I first heard you randomly on Spotify like 6 months ago & you just blew me away.

And a gender/art thing: I would NEVER have believed a woman could cover “Creep” and fully evoke the male trauma in it. Ms. Reinhart, your interpretation of that song is blazingly painful, gorgeous, and deep. You taught me a lot about the song & I feel you’ve given a great gift (with this smashing cover of Radiohead, as with so much of your own music) on several levels, including this experience of omg she gets it.
