I met Keith at the LA show. Really nice guy. He told me he first knew of Haley taking photos for Robby Krieger at his charity event. He said he's become a big fan of Haley's especially Haley the person, says she's a real sweetheart. Haley apparently liked his work enough that she asked Keith to come to the show to take photos, but to him this wasn't work. He likened what he was doing at the Roxy to what I was doing there, collecting media for Haley to use, supporting Haley, and he was also there as a fan as this was his first live Haley show, he'd only seen her perform at the charity events.
Jay came out to get him (the only LoFiSoul show Jay attended) and Keith came back, showing me some pretty awesome Behind the Scenes Black and White snaps. His colour photos are also pretty awesome by the looks of the ones Haley posted.
I was videoing, perhaps too far away, but I needed the elevation of the VIP area in order to shoot above the tallest fans. Unfortunately it was beyond my iPhone's range, luckily, I had ISCAT's camcorder situated at the corner of the sound board. Anyway, since I was elevated, I'd see Keith working the room w/ his camera. Eventually, he settled in near me, we kept our equipment bags together so we could keep a watch out on our equipment.
So out of the corner of my eye, I saw Keith finally put his camera down, and started enjoying himself as a fan, jumping up and down, waving his hands in the air and whooping lol
It was just funny seeing a professional do his job then transform into a fan once he was done. This wasn't work for him
