Haley In 2022!

Hi guys. I've been slowing mulling over making a thread on here. Not that I ever get much traction on my posts, but I digress. 

What are you guys hoping Haley does/gets/promotes this year?

I'm just hoping the Off The Ground EP has become an album and that she manages a small tour this year!

Thoughts/ideas?

Also. The holidays sometimes make me forget when singers have down time/time away from social media. But Haley has been kind of quiet on social media this month so far.

I know I know. She's done this for years, and she deserves a break from the online world too don't get me wrong. I guess I just miss updates on things/news/just her smiling face?

Also. I can't be alone in wondering WHY Off The Ground isn't promoted on her official website... Like... How can you not include your recent single on your brand new site is beyond me, but it's fine...

Not trying to sound like a whiner, but I just miss her. Is that weird?

Think Haley mentioned wanting to get back to touring in an IG story the other day. She likely will as she loves to perform. I imagine any tour will come after she releases the EP. Possibly in CD form as she likes to have merch. Which also means she would probably spend time designing a cover, t-shirts, etc., if she hasn't already. Not sure she has any plans beyond that as the last time we were at this stage she toured, and then planned on touring some more before COVID hit.

She's going to suffer the loss of income from FIFF (assuming she was paid annually), which was nice to have when the pandemic shut down live music for the most part. It would be ideal if she could land another opportunity like that or being the voice of another ad campaign (Extra, Mazda). I don't know though that anyone is actively promoting her. Hopefully she's given that some thought.

I think another film role would be amazing for her.

Obviously WCBH2 is in the books/going to happen. But dang it if it hasn't been filmed yet I still want her in some part of Sister Act 3!

Whoopi is going back to her nostalgic roles. Delores Van Cartier/Sister Mary Clarence means a lot to a lot of folks around my age and younger.

If it is Disney+ exclusive that's fine, but I kind of hope it comes to theaters.

ANYWAY. Even if she just got the part of a nun that sings great. I'd die happy. lol

As for touring I think she is probably secretly in creative mode. Working on merch and the album/EP artwork for Off The Ground.

Nice idea there Kelsey, Haley would be great in that movie. I always kind of thought she'd do a great job in a remake of the movie The Bodyguard, the Whitney Houston/Kevin Costner film. Either way just wishing the best for Haley in 2022 and hoping we can all start seeing her perform live again sooner than later.

This excerpt makes me think the show might possibly have fantasy elements, Haley's "Joy" might be an incarnation of the holidays as opposed to a human character named 'Joy' ?

Some confusion, some posts seem to indicate it's scheduled for Christmas 2022, but there are links online that post details about the show, where to see it in 2021, but there's no detail except the cast listing.  This link was posted in 2021 https://www.radiotimes.com/movie-guide/b...day-twist/

I'd hate to have to wait till next fall/Christmas season, but maybe it's a project that will be promoted later this year?

i think "pre-production" means it hasn't been shot/funded yet.

ETM Pictures upcoming screenplay is Holiday Twist when has interest from major production studios and was also written by Stephanie Garvin.
