The flight was 3 hours shorter than expected because it didn't stop in Honolulu.

Thats a long long flight I spent 22 hrs in a jet when I went to Viet- nam. Took off from New York. A lot shorter comming back.Its called the ( freedom flight or the freedom bird) It was a> we had a lot to entertain our self I f you know what I mean.Just saying lol

That's a really long trip and I imagine you were not looking forward to the first leg of it. Thank you for your service. The longest flight I have been on is from Dallas to NYC --a piece of cake comparatively.

At that time you could smoke on the airliners. SOOO we would go into the bathrooms and smoke opium, and the good stuff from the mountianyards of the centrial highlands. All the lifers that were getting out of the service, so they didn't care.But most of them had a bottle of wiskey or scotch.Drinking alcohol and smokeing "O"Yes it was better goining the other way.
