RE: Haley's in the studio.
“Keep Coming Back” by Rob Kleiner, Steve McEwan, Haley Reinhart (Knew the song before, not the credits)
"Follow Me (I'm Right Behind You)" by Haley Reinhart, Steve McEwan, Rob Kleiner, Jason Falkner
Love it. Listed under "HALE REINHARDT". Found HALE REINHARDT via a search for Keep Coming Back (which we knew from the Hollywood Reporter article) and voila, Follow Me popped up.
"Keep Coming Back" confirmed as an album track (by the same article).
"Follow Me (I'm Right Behind You)" fits the description of what Kleiner said would be a deluxe album bonus track (co-write with Falkner).
Steve McEwan

Has an idol history with songs with Carrie and David.
British, written for: Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and Keith Urban; rock and pop stars such as Roger Daltrey, David Archuleta, James Morrison and James Blunt, Eminem.
Carrying this over from http://haleyreinhartinfo.wordpress.com/debut-album/ and IDF
ETA: Interesting addendum:
'She's A Wildflower' (Hillary Lindsey/Steve McEwan/Gordie Sampson), title track to Lauren Alaina's album.
ETA: McEwan also co-wrote on Cook's latest
ETA: Another connection is via Jim Jonsin! McEwan and Jonsin cowrote "Space Bound" for Eminem

RE: Haley's in the studio.
(03-24-2012, 03:14 AM)Miguel Wrote: Thanks for adding that material. I'm pretty good at Internet research but you smoke me when it comes to these publishing databases. I can never seem to get anything out of them. Yes, you're very good. I'm still floored with the image comparison work you did.
But on this, usually it's easy because the entries are under the writer's name.
Haley's been hard since she doesn't seem to be "registered" at ASCAP or BMI yet. If they don't know about a writer, then you can't search for them there (and if you have an entry at one, then you usually have an cross-indexed entry at the other). HFA does allow searches on unknown writers and also seems to have info from PRS (England), but not all records from ASCAP.
The one exception was the songs Mozella registered on ASCAP that listed the performer; it looks like ASCAP auto-creates entries for performer but not writer.
An aside: Still don't know which she'll register with. BMI is logical since this is UMG's usual and Ole has relationships with them. But ASCAP also makes sense since Dina LaPolt does work for them.
So, reduced to searching for other writers names (and sometimes title) and seeing when her name pops up. The trick to searching by other writer names: use tools or else you'll go crazy doing it manually. (Sites which will compare web page, etc.) Of course, this depends on getting co-writer leaks
But not worth investing in tools anymore 'cause we have most of the current. Also, I don't expect that it'll be this hard the next time around simply because she'll probably register and be searchable by then
Also at this point, expect that her songs (all 30) will all be visible at majorlyindie.com soon enough (next couple of months).
