No big Haley announcements like there was last year at this event (except for one that affects our Halien Party Planning that I can't fully divulge yet)
Had my usual delightful chats with Harry & Patti between each set break. In the Silent Auction I bid on this Deluxe Listen up CD and autographed Haley Photo which says Thanks!!! WHS/WIL (Wheeling High School/Wildcat Instrumental League) donated by the Reinharts:

...mainly to push the bidding up since I already have a half dozen of the same thing. Final Bid was $70 I believe
I also lost out at the last second on an autographed Alexei Ramirez White Sox photo but I did win 4 lower level tickets and framed photo to the Chicago Sky WNBA regular season game of my choice. Those four seats would normally be $160 total & I got them for $20 total!
Wish I could tell you a couple other things that were said in confidence but I'd have to shoot ya right afterwards and I don't think it would be worth it to you. Not sure why everything needs to be so secret. I think I can say that the cover that Haley recorded in the Studio is one that was in Tusk's Vegas Youtubes and was also sung by Midnight last night.

That narrows it down quite a bit, thanks for the news Himm2. Sounds like you got a good deal on those tickets too while supporting a good cause at the same time!

But anyone have Midnight's set list? Maybe a Beatle's tune showed up? (BIY is a Bacharach song covered by the Beatles, but H & Patti do the band Smith's version)

(ETA: Oh Darling!, Son of a Preacher Man and Mercy were also on the Vegas list and are possibilities too).

Actually Penny Gilbert is a close friend of the Reinhart family...so she must have been at the show last night. Babbs & I hang out with her at Patti & Harry's gigs.

...and she does a nice job bagging groceries too! Her parents instilled a good work ethic in their kids at a young age...and they're dedicated to their employers also! Haley worked a long time for the Wheeling Park District. Angie has leadership qualities that are admired by her many friends that look up to her.
