Possible ALBUM release date. This month? (originally posted Jan 2012)

Someone on Twitter discovered this webpage that shows a release date of 1-30-2012.

HMV is a British global entertainment retail chain and is the largest of its kind in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The company also operates in Hong Kong and Singapore. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange

I found this old link to a listing for BICO. Note it was also listed as "PRERELCD" (pre-release CD) but contained the correct release date of BICO:



That, to me, adds legitimacy to the possibility Haley's album could be released as early as 1/30/12. It makes sense strategically if they want to take full advantage of the Idol bubble. It would catch people as they're starting to talk about Idol but before they were invested in the new contestants.

No album art though. As I recall Haley's words about working on the album, "They're starting to learn..." (she wanted to be thoroughly involved in every element), I wonder if this date might have been the original date they were shooting for

The funny thing is I woke up this morning and one of the first things I thought about is January 30th seemed doable. My mind went to how James had his debut single/video and how quickly everything else seemed to be released after that.

I surmised the industry strategy for new releases might have shifted because it is now more dependent on digital downloads. If you're going on a publicity tour, it makes more sense to promote an album and not just a single as it gives you more to talk about, more chances for airplay and more opportunity for downloads.

No release date. I guess they didn't press any CDs for an international release but that was originally in their plans.
