I'm not sure where I was going with this. I started one place and ended up at another.
I was just looking carefully at ways established music stars worked out the long blondish hair thing .... and next thing you know I'm seeing all the skin shown and model quality faces and I'm thinking its a rough world.
Adele managed to do it without turning into a fitness machine and Kelly Clarkson was quite fit during idol but never had to go to risque and after the first big hits had the confidence coupled with personal goals I guess (lots of people like to be fit for fitness sake... a large number of 50 year old men and women in the suburb I live in for instance) to say.. "I'm going to look the way I want even if its a few more pounds than their notion of what I should look like" . But those are the standouts... I didn't even show the semi-nude dancing of Shakira (I started with her because I thought she managed some hair in ways it has a bit of edge without being too far out there .
I don't really know who she is but she looked like a friendly person.
I was also wondering if fair(er) skinned girls could wear a few beaded-dread-lock-like brains without either looking crunchy granola or gangster/ghetto wannabes ... find a way to walk the line between the relating to the hip-hop funk sound and the rock and not be out of place with ballads too... there were a few that seemed to work.
But.. Does a girl really want to be a rock star and deal with all this crap and people comparing you to not only top singers but also grading you on how you look in a bikini compared to others ? ... I guess that was my take away... .even at my most fit I wouldn't want to have my pictures held up next to Sylvester Stallone in rambo (i was fit when those movies came out.. but not that fit)
