'Idol' spot boosts Lauren Alaina's sales

Kelly Clarkson's Stronger remained the top-selling album from an American Idol act last week, but Lauren Alaina had the biggest gains. After performing her single Georgia Peaches on last week's Idol results show, the Season 10 runner-up saw her weekly album sales jump 34%, according to Nielsen SoundScan. That was enough to move her from No. 171 on The Billboard 200 to No. 116.

Her emotion/confidence is so on in this (Gibson Guitar Showroom) performance! Looks like she's getting really comfortable in the song. I am so excited for her AI performance. Usually those are a disappointment, idols coming back to the idol stage, but Haley's a different story. Love this girl!

I like how she looked down at the end. I wonder if she will do that on Idol. Last season, it seemed her performances usually ended with her looking directly in the camera.
