To be fair I haven´t been able to watch James video in my country since is blocked...I don´t understand these policies or whatever reasons to block videos in certain places. They are denying the chance for potential fans to get invested in a new artist...so his views could definitely be higher.

I´m more than happy to say that it wasn´t the case with Haley´s material. We even got Free in our ITunes Store with a slight delay of 3 days...not that bad considering.

No, it has a delay of 2-3 weeks, but actually they broadcast the final live! Last year was the very first time I was so invested in the show. I guess it´s a common feeling.

Is it then a fair assumption that "Free" might have been offered to and rejected by Pia?
Could you imagine Pia doing "Free" and getting the same feedback?

I think maybe it would have been too complicated a song for Pia to "pull off" simply because, finnishing 9th, Interscope might not have put the same efforts into it as they did for Haley finishing 3rd, which "Free" needs because it's not your typical 'radio friendly' song....
Or do you think they never considered it for Pia to perform, maybe they went a different direction with the types of songs they wanted Pia to do....?
