A 'coup de coeur' is when you fall instantly in love with something, like if you were out shopping and impulsively bought a new skirt that you just HAD to have - you could say that it was a 'coup de coeur'! It can work in lots of situations.

Another example is, quite often in tourism guides, certain attractions or restaurants will be labelled 'coup de coeur', meaning that the guide authors had a special feeling in that place, it being, yes, a favorite. Love at first sight in a way, although that expression is "coup de foudre" (foudre is lightning).

Yes you are right. 'Coup de coeur' means 'my favorite' (song, or whatever).

Miguel, I appreciate this find. I wish that the sound mix had been better so that I could have heard the singer better. Perhaps it was my hearing or that I was listening on my laptop (or a combination of both), but the balance wasn't good for me. What I could hear of the singer made me think that this was a good cover. I don't often hear that.
