Haley's dog, "Jango," passed away

When I lost Lovey, I was 16 and we had her since I was 6 so I know how it feels to have a puppy for your whole childhood/teenager life and then have to go through the pain of loosing them . Luckily my friends came over and made us feel better

I imagine that you really felt Lovey's absence initially. I think with Haley being busy and away from home she won't feel that as strongly. Seeing dogs of all ages at Pet-A-Palooza will likely make her recall the fond times she had with Jango. He had a good, full life.

This is a very sensitive subject for me. I´ve got an 8 year old Golden Retriever that I love, but he is getting old and eventually, (sadly sooner than later), I´m gonna loose him. Law of life, but that dog has helped me through rough times, family illnesses and has been nothing but a noble partner.

Through him I´ve learned to respect all living creatures and raising him has made me a more caring person...Never thought an animal could do that much for a person.

So I deeply feel for anyone who goes through that lost. It´s like loosing a family member, the most vulnerable one. I feel for Haley right now and She might be very busy at the moment, but I´m sure it´ll hit her sooner or later. Hopefully not tomorrow, at the Pet-appaloosa.

As a life long dogs owner, I feel her pain. May Jango rest in peace.

I hear you John, After having dogs in the family for nearly 40yrs, I've put my last one mercifully down.. There will not ever be any more.. It's just too damn hard to do it when that ultimate time arrives.. The worst ever part of dog ownership... Our last one, Sunny broke the whole family's heart and we all agreed to end the dog-a-thon in our family..

So yeah, I feel her pain too!

If I do that to my dogs, they hit them off and then run around the house chewing it up lol....well at least my younger one does with anything else he finds and makes me get exercise chasing him in a circle
