THR "Idol Hangover" with Haley Reinhart (now posted)

Oh my, steamy huh?

Loved the interview and came away with three new things:

1. Shirley Halperin says, "It's a very...sexy, steamy record." Haley's reaction was sheepishly "You think so"? Shirley goes on, "I can't wait to see you slink on stage to 'Oh My', I'm sorry, that song is so great"! Well, what are the rest of us going to say, especially guys in the market for music? It's not just a guy thing...Haley really amps up the sex appeal, which women take note of too, and in a positive way.

2. "Oh My" collaborating with B.O.B. seems to represent this "sexy, steamy" thing Shirley was talking about. Of all the songs that Shirley wanted to talk about it seems "Oh My" was at the top of the list. It seems to be one of many that are contenders for the next single.

3. Shirley stated that the 10 song album edition was "the perfect length, the perfect amount of music, so good call on that too" (as opposed to the deluxe 14 song version)...It's great to know there are probably many at THR that are really excited about this album, having listened to it! Shirley wouldn't be out there on a limb by herself. She must have had a lot of positive feedback from others, a majority, on her team.

One of the first things I thought about this morning was "Oh, my."

Young fans already believed it should be the next single -- without ever hearing it -- because B.o.B. is so huge currently. Then Shirley raved about how "hot" it is aked Haley what someone wears to record something like that. And Haley jokingly replied, "lingerie." Then Didi called it "Baby-Making Music."

Obviously, this song and how it's delivered turns "sultry" up a notch.

I have a hard time imagining how "swampy," "James Bond" and "New Orleans" embody this song. However, I can imagine what the reaction will be in the Idol bubble. Some heads are going to explode.

We all know the real Haley as a kind, sensitive, sweet young lady...time has shown this.

My suggestion is to ignore the haters, not quote them...don't give them the time of day or any credence by publishing their comments. Haley is above the retaliation game, so we all should be too. Overcome the haters with Haley love.

I'm still pissed that I still cannot access that interview. The damned browser just continues to lock up even though my task manager indicates that the site is "running"! I have to "end task" just to get out of the page. Kind of frustrating, especially since I'm very limited on a computer.

From what you all comment though, I'm just more on the edge of my seat anticipating receipt of my copy of the album, which I ordered off of Haley's site on day 1 of pre order availablility. I can't wait to hear the rest of the tracks that She has not released yet.

Regarding the "steamy, sexy, hot" references to the BoB collaboration, it's my totally humble opinion that our girl should use all of her beautiful God given assets to make her mark, especially in this magnificent opportunity that she's so blessed to have earned!

gillyking, when I have trouble viewing videos on IE I use Mozilla Foxfire & I usually have success. If you don't have it, it is easy to download. Hope this helps. I, too, get very frustrated when I cannot view a vid everyone else is commenting on...

If you haven't gotten your receipt then you should email customer service. I did that for mine, and the lady was very helpful....turns out I made a typo in my email address and I got my receipt (which I needed to get Free for FREE!) after a few emails
