Maybe someone posted this already... I dunno... but it's a great interview... soooo...

Thanks, I'd heard the interview before but I didn't know there was a video of it. Watching it adds a lot. It was a good interview -- I always like it when the interviewer is a fan.

Indeed! Agreed. Video of Haley "adds a lot"

And I like what she says at 11:51 about being anywhere and being a happy camper. We probably worry more than she does about how big or small things are kicking off for her.

Before the album came out I recorded "Wonderland" with that clip where she introduces "Wonderland" @6:53 ....

This is um, one of my favorites, I eh, it's called Wonderland, and it has a very retro sound to it, between mmm, it's kind of like an old R&B like Motown feel, ehm..and it's a it's a love song so I think everybody will like it, I hope so...*snicker*

I listened to that intro for days until the album finally came out, which might be why "Wonderland" is one of my favorites. Something about the way she says it is so sweet and innocent, it worked perfectly to go into "Wonderland". Nice that we have a clear audio of that now, so I can burn "Listen Up!" on a cd and add that snippet before "Wonderland"

I love 'watching' Haley interviews because she is so expressive with her face.

Thanks LovinDa...I remember the audio version of this. I thought Larry London did one of the finest interviews ever and now to have the video...it really gives it much greater depth. The look in his eye gives a real sense that he is a fan...he's been Halienized.

Yes, it is refreshing to see a 21 year old so excited about contributing to a better world. As older fans we may think it is a bit naive in the face of reality, but we all can recall our idealistic teens & 20s.

The music world, or even society may try to dismiss this sweet, optimistic, parent-loving Haley, looking for the darker side in an artist. The troubled or bad guy/girl is often more attractive to a large segment of society.

I am inspired by Haley. She lives what she professes. If life knocks you down you have to get back up, something else is just around the corner...from the book of Haley.

Oddly enough, that tiny little clip may be my favorite Haley interview of them all (next to the one she praised the Flask Man, of course). It's the most sincere, thoughtful, mature and articulate I've ever seen her. Thanks for posting it!

Interesting, it sounded like she invited a few of her ex Idols to her premiere performance at the Hollywood Hard Rock and only Casey and Tim showed up.... .(Could be they didn't want to take attention away from her by not showing up, I guess) Probably met up with the bulk of them at the post performance 'Idol Party'....still, big night for her for them not to show up
