Unfortunately, it is trailing four new releases: John Mayer, Sara Bareilles, Slash, and Kris Allen. I think over time this one will outsell Kris' CD.

I was surprised in looking at the charts yesterday how Idol influenced they were. I think Listen Up! has the potential for broad appeal and can build from that base. It's really just a matter of getting her music in front of enough people.

I definitely agree that she can build on that Idol base. I think it's hard for Idol artists to do so because a lot of "serious" music lovers have a negative opinion of AI and the type of artists that come from the show. Haley could definitely overcome that if enough people "Listen Up!"
