RE: Haley Reinhart - Inspiring Others
I mentioned to her in Vegas that Miguel has saved "Haley" for her at HF if she ever wanted to claim it. She asked me what kind of site it was, was it like a blog? (lifting her hands as if to type on a keyboard), I told her yes, that it was the site I posted on the Lollapalooza videos ...
I don't think she really spends that much time online reading blogs, which is probably wise for someone in the entertainment business.
She's going to be busy with the next stage of her career, new label and album, no time to read blogs....

Sounds a little too upbeat to me.
I kind of liked it. It was a bit depressing at first, but more because of the camera work, the sort of and lack of smiling faces, the odd bows, and the baren yet cluttered room.
If the same girls were shown in scenes outside in the Philippines lip syncing their own version with philipino landscapes and even urban vistas (think of the Marakina tram area looking out, but also some gardens in the park need the Malakayan) it would seem more beautiful than depressing). If that editing is too ambitious, even the girls singing with a different background and a camera shooting less down upon them would be a big improvement. The sound probably wouldn't be as good there thats why dubbing an inside recording over an outside video might be a good solution.
