If you do that, you will have to re install ALL your software, not just Windows....and that's a decision to not take lightly. Also, it's not easy to do so if you want to do it, (I would advise against it, without help), you should get someone that really knows their way around a computer to do it for you, as well as back up all of your files.
Click the compatibility view button first and see if that fixes it...It's harmless, and you could always click it again to undo it.
