Others have been using the word "soul" to describe Haley's music, but that's the first time Aimee has. She seems enthusiastic about what she is hearing (spurred to tweet repeatedly over time). You get the sense she feels Haley breathed some magic into the songs.

The video for "Birthday Dress" already has received more than 600,000 views on YouTube, strictly from word-of-mouth and from a single appearance on BET, since the single was just released to radio this week.

"It's super-exciting, especially because it's a song where I got to work with Jukebox in a super-creative place," Koma said. "It was great to not just be the songwriter, but to also be at the helm and help make sure it became something I wanted it to be. It's also cool to see all the hype . . . Diddy tweeting about it and Brandy tweeting about it. It's crazy."

Wonder what they said while they were watching American Idol. Though he said that was in May, it might have been this episode that aired 4/27/11:

Haley Reinhart, "Beautiful": Babyface gave Haley his approval, saying that, while tackling a trouble spot, she "caught on pretty quickly," which he felt was the sign of a true artist. Jimmy gave Haley a life lesson inspired by the word "get."
