An EP might be a good idea. If she put out a six song EP with say three new songs, an alternate "Oh My", and two covers, she could post to Itunes or Amazon and make $$$ off of downloads.
She may not have to create physical CD copies, but perhaps she could make a limited number---maybe sign them....they would become very collectable...
I am sure she would easily sell tens of thousands of downloads of the EP to the diehard Haliens. And these days, folks can cut tracks and record them in home studios, so production costs should be minimal.
Yes, songs on the EP would not get radio airplay, but it would keep her name out there in the press as doing new music. And, the songs on the EP could eventually be re-released when she is signed to a new label.
I do think a new video from her would be great--a real video with professional production values. She is making lots of connections out in LA, so maybe something could be done with her new industry buddies. Who wouldn't want to work with Haley?
But whatever, we will wait patiently for what comes next... .
