Does she like cookies? She likes ice cream, doesn't she. Maybe an ice cream cake? I suspect that's not easy to make at home, so you may need to buy it, but if she isn't a cake/cookie kind a gal, ice cream might be the best alternative.

Just found out from Harry that they just found out from BG Days that part of Haley's Performance package includes being on a parade float on Sunday 9/1 at 1 PM. Parade: Starts at Bernard Drive & Indian Hill, proceeding east on Bernard Drive to Raupp Boulevard, turning north to St. Mary’s Parkway. Guess it will feel like what the 2011 Hometown Celebration was like.

So that likely means we leave the morning party for lunch near the parade route (maybe Outback) and line the street with cheering Haliens and then back to the party with the Reinharts for dinner grilling and then let the Reinharts decide if we stay at Party HQ into the night or go over to BG Days for the 7:30 American English concert.

I'll know more when Harry responds with my reply to his email.

And I just went to the BG fest website and guess what I see?....a picture of Haley from CityWalk!

The photographer is from the Chicago area and I believe he is also an event organizer for Buffalo Grove Days.
