Just made it to my hotel room. Wheels touched down at 3:33. Had a 4 p.m. reservation for a car but it wasn't ready until 5 p.m. My GPS then directed me towards N. Milwaukee Avenue near downtown Chicago. Right about the time I noticed the skyline, it told me to exit. It then quit working due to a low battery -- I had forgotten to pack the power plug for the car. I called the hotel and a young woman told me that if I could find Milwaukee Avenue, it ran from downtown to the suburbs. So that's what I did. Now I need to figure out how to get to the BGD's festival -- I also forgot to pack the directions I had printed out. I only slept about 4 hours last night, so I'm exhausted.

I hope your luck turns around Miguel and you get there in time. Fingers crossed.

I walked out of my room to get something out of the car and immediately realized I left the room key in the room. I stop at the front desk to get another. Then went to the car where I realized I had grabbed my regular car keys and not the keys for the rental car. So it goes...

Thank you MAE. The only ones I knew for sure were Himm, Tusk and Swan. Anxious to see Miguel but he has certainly had his share of mishaps which will all seem trivial when he sees Haley and is surrounded by fellow Haliens...

Thanks. It's going well. I enjoyed the show and meeting everyone afterwards. No beauty rest though -- only slept 3-1/2 hours.
