RE: Site is slow 3-2
Can anyone else who is experiencing a slow connection do the trace route, then post it here?
When I do it, the result is barely visible for split second before disappearing (it doesn't stay on my screen).
If you press the "Run" command, that will call up a dialog box. Type "tracert" (no quotes) into this. That will run the Trace Route.
I use Windows 7, so I first had to enable the RUN command. This is done by going to the CONTROL PANEL, selecting APPEARANCE AND PERSONALIZATION, then TASKBAR and START MENU.
From there you choose the tab at the top labeled START MENU, then select the button labeled, "CUSTOMIZE." After that you scroll down to the item labeled "RUN COMMANd" and check the box.
Click "Okay", to close that window. Then click "Apply" and then "Okay" on the next window.
After doing that, you should see the "Run" command at the bottom of the right menu when you press the "Start" button in the lower left corner.

RE: Site is slow 3-2
^^ Since I had that difficulty, I went ahead and submitted a ticket asking Eleven2* webhosting move the site to a different server as the tech I "chatted" with yesterday said I could do.
The response I received,
"The site http://haleyfans.com/ is loading fine now. Please check this after clearing the browser cache and cookies."
My response:
Quote:I want it to be fine all the time.
This is the first time I've submitted a ticket but I have spent a lot of time in chat with your reps lately.
I'm getting tired of it.
*Used company name so comments about service turn up in web searches.

Yes, it seems fast again. But it was slow far too long.
I spoke too fast...
