Its not my favorite song that they've collaborated on-mainly because its so repetitive but I like the arrangement and as always Haley's vocals shine.I think that her growth since she hooked up with this outfit is really impressive.

I'm confused why I keep seeing comments about it being too repetitive. I don't sense that any more than any other song.

I disagree. I love Creep, but it only clocked is as my third favorite PMJ number. I knew that eventually, Haley would capture my top spot. 7NA accomplished that today.

My take is that it's telling a story & is one of the least repetitive & boy can Haley tell a story

Perhaps because Scott Bradlee remarked that he was initially concerned that the song was too repetitive when Haley suggested it.

Yeah, I don't get the repetition thing either. Lyrically, there is no repetition I hear so it must be in the music.

The lyrics aren't repetitive and Haley's vocal certainly isn't repetitive but I was talking about the chords -its basically the same thing repeated over and over.And there's no typical verse/bridge thing like with alot of songs.Just about the only variation is the key change.So I can see Scott's initial hesitation with doing the song.

Yes, Kaypea is correct, If you watch the periscope, Scott refers to the music, not the lyrics, being repetitive... He even illustrates it by playing it on the piano while he's telling the story of how the song came about.
