What exactly does this mean: "The amount of headroom in the mix is completely shattered from her voice." I have 0 technical knowledge in this area. And, I can not get the cartoon 'Max Headroom' out of head now.

That graphic might be misleading... in working w/ the audio for my videos, the size of the audio's graphic appears to vary depending on Software... My Video editing software often shows the graphic much larger, like in the top graphic, while the same file won't necessarily show as big a graphic when I load it onto my audio software (more similar to the bottom graphic), so that's probably a very simplified way to explain it.
Of course I'm by no means an expert, know none of the terminology or basics, practically all of my audio experience has been through stumbling through the videos and putting out what I hope is decent audio (I'm sure people in the field must guffaw at my output  )
But indeed a challenge, when I try to 'bring' up the clarity and volume on Haley's vocals, at least so they can be heard above the musicians, is to get it to a balanced point between volume, clarity and distortion. (I did alot of this on Lyca's Perth videos, bringing up the vocals a bit and 'sweetening' the clairty)
One of the 'tricks' I try when the audio is so loud that it 'crackles' at it's height, is to reduce what ever channel is carrying the audio that causes it. It doesn't always work, but sometimes you can bring it down enough that the ambient sounds might be able to cover it up.
So I can see why people would prefer more 'headroom' for more flexibility, it's much like when I work on a photoshop project, I can do more with an image, use more filters and adjustments, when the source image is of High resolution. Lower resolution images really limit the options of what can be done with them IMO

I've noticed an uptick in Facebook comments related to 7NA the couple of days. "Lost Pinup" posted the video to their page 9 hours ago. It has 361,122 views and 583 comments.
