I enjoyed your post kkong. Caley has a dynamic that is special, for sure. And I think Casey helped Haley to start performing around LA, and he paved the way to PMJ.

Sorry, I'm new to posting on Youtube. I thought as long as you had the url that you could see it and that making it private just made it unsearchable.

For the Caught video, I used HaleySlay's Room 5 video as a base. I have a message in to him to see if he is okay with me making it public.

For the Just One More Time video, I used the Pre-released mp3 from the EP. I thought I should get some advise before making that public.

Hoping Tusk might be so kind....

Update: I am changing Caught to Public until HaleySlays objects. Also will change JOMT vid to Public for a few hours until I get some feedback.

Update2: Done. Let me know if the two lyrics vids are working now.

Hey kkong, I have no problem with you making it public, the more people that see it, the Better. I think you got the lyrics pretty spot on!

To make it so it's visible but not searchable, choose "unlisted" (not "private").

Looks like Yanni gave you permission, but since you asked.

IMO, it's always the right thing to ask permission, if that's not possible, then give credit, but be prepared if the originator says 'no' to concede to his wishes

As far as posting something like audio, hard to speak for Casey, and it's a subject that is divisive. Even though it's inevitable, I'm on the side of giving Casey the chance to move some units before it's made readily available by posting it to youtube so people aren't compelled to purchase the iTune. But again, it's the world we live in that audio will evenutally be posted (see CHFIL)

As it is, if you leave it 'unlisted', not readily available to searches, then at least it's exposure is limited IMO

I was just watching the Moanin' video and there's a YT comment that says in part, "I feel like Casey really helped Haley find her true self musically." When it was first posted two months ago, I replied noting Haley's jazz background prior to Idol. But tonight I had this thought:

Haley had studied and performed jazz in high school and college, but only after meeting "kindred spirit" Casey was she able to heavily indulge in the improvisational side of it (to the best of my knowledge).

I read/heard somewhere that Harry would scat to Haley even as a Baby and she would mimic the sounds back to him... I think improvisation, not only in Jazz, has been part of her musical make up starting w/ her parents (Lead guitarists improvise all the time during guitar solos)

That sounds more likely. I'm glad that Haley and Casey have have the tremendous relationship they have but sometimes I think Casey is given too much credit for being the catalyst in their musical relationship. In terms of improvisation in their AI run, I thought it was far more evident in Haley than in Casey (Oh Darling, GBTC, and Moanin).
