If they're 'trying' NOT to have Haley out there as one of their stars by only giving her one song on this live album....this doesn't sure help....

Either way, start looking at your PBS schedule as the Vegas show should be coming up pretty soon.... it's not easy to find ahead of time. My local PBS channel's web site didn't have it on their schedule, but looking further, I found a pdf schedule (presumably one they send out to their contributors) and found it there. On the online schedule, it had another show w/ "Jukebox" on it, but it wasn't PMJ.....maybe the online guy got his shows mixed up. Either way, it's going to show in my area November 27th at 10:30pm....it'll be different in other areas and 'may' be posted incorrectly

Welp, I just talked to the station in my area and the PMJ special will NOT be playing tonight, or the foreseeable future, I just spoke to the station

They said the printed schedule was printed way in advance and for some reason the PMJ special was 'taken off the schedule'....

Looks like much of the US won't see it....(Team) Haley just posted a list of areas where you can see the show....

I don't think that list is complete. It is scheduled for showing in the Las Vegas area. I have my DVR scheduled to record it.

It’s the fourth PBS special recorded at The Smith Center — and one that Smith Center and Vegas PBS officials hope will lead to even more.

...The “Postmodern Jukebox” special’s production company is Los Angeles-based Bounce — a subsidiary of AEG, the same company behind the concert/live events promoter AEG Live, which books multiple Strip venues, and Concord Music Group. (Among Bounce’s PBS credits: numerous “In Performance at the White House” specials.)

“They love Cabaret Jazz as a venue for TV,” (Smith Center president) Myron Martin notes.

“We know we can go in there and have good audio, good sight lines,” Tom Axtell (Vegas PBS general manager) explains, adding that production officials “want to hear how the instruments are picked up and how does that translate to TV.”

Finally got my PMJ Vegas DVD's... as annoyed, or maybe, 'disappointed' as I am that Haley got one performance in this opportunity for national exposure, after watching her performance in the context of the show, I've softened a bit on that response.

Haley's performance of Black Hole Sun is the penultimate one, second to last. Before her, Scott steps in to tell the story of PMJ then does his, "give me names of songs/artists" from the audience to perform a medley of those artists. In the DVD he combines David Bowie, Fats Waller, White Stripes & Neil Diamond.

Then it is Scott who introduces Haley, not Ariana who was the "FEMcee" for the night, introducing the other acts.

"Ladies & Gentlemen, my favorite part of Postmodern Jukebox is getting to work with so many incredible performers. I'm really pleased tonight, to bring a special guest on the stage right now.... Please give it up for the incomparable, Miss Haley Reinhart"


I think maybe part of my 'annoyance' was me being a 'fanboy' and feeling 'disrespect' for Haley... (I'm certain Haley would not think this )... but seeing that it was Scott who introduced her, calling her a Special Guest... and her placement in the show... I'm actually quite pleased the way it was presented. Sure I would still love for her to have at least one more song to do, but having watched how it was executed and in it's context, I'm no longer annoyed

I still wish it was available in better resolution than DVD, these performances deserve to be in HD
