Hales does an awesome job with KCB. She owns it, she feels it. She relates so comfortably with John. I see that and know Haley is doing just fine. It looks like it was a great summertime show.

I was watching this version when someone walked by in front of the camera. It made me recall the Yacht Club videos where people seemed to be too preoccupied to take notice of Haley. Quite a contrast to this audience.

I revisited this video of 'Keep Coming Back' since we have seen some new performances lately...I think there are 4 different locations now of this one.

I love the crowd reaction at 1:17, 1:55, 2:45, 3:24 and at the end 3:50.
There are some serious fans of Haley here in Minnesota and they know her music. Some guy yelled out "I am single and ready!"

Another 'Sampler' sellout expected next week

It's that time of year again. The 24th annual "Cities 97 Sampler" arrives in area Target stores at 8 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, and, as always, the 35,000 copies are likely to disappear by lunchtime.

This year's disc collects otherwise-unavailable live performances, most of which were recorded in the Cities 97 studio, including station favorites such as Brandi Carlile, Eric Hutchinson, Jason Mraz, Gavin DeGraw, the Fray and Tyrone Wells. Also on the CD are a few new acts (Ed Sheeran, Graffitti6, Of Monsters and Men), local rapper Dessa and even an "American Idol" vet, the 10th season's Haley Reinhart (she's the one with all that hair who did "Bennie and the Jets").

The "Sampler" is priced at $25.97, with a limit of two per person. All proceeds benefit a series of local charities serving the homeless, disabled, seniors, families, seriously ill children and animals. After this year's disc sells out, the total amount raised by the program is expected to top $10.3 million.

Cities 97 is also hosting a CD-release show the night before the "Sampler" goes on sale. Tristan Prettyman, who is on this year's disc, headlines with another "Idol" vet (who isn't on the CD), Phillip Phillips. The only way to get in is to win tickets from Cities 97, which is also giving away the "Sampler" to lucky listeners. Check out Cities97.com for further details.
