I was totally ecstatic when I heard Irving Mayfield giving props to Haley. I guess he was accustomed to people just walking in and singing summertime, so he thought she would be no different. That being said earned her an invitation at Carnegie Hall. Time is flying so fast from when I first heard her singing on YouTube, and now it's coming to pass. Along with everything else and every other place she has performed, this has to be a pinnacle. What a honer from lollapalooza to Carnegie Hall something that she can really put in her resume. The slow climb,. The steady climb. I hope Casey doesn't wear his sneakers, his hoodie and checkered shorts. I don't think he will. I'm betting Haley will look exquisite or if there's a better word radiant? Hot

Plus, they should be respectful of the people who extended the invitation. Mayfield and the NOJO's last tour was called the Road to Carnegie Hall tour. It was supposed to culminate with a performance at the hall last November but was postponed until this date. So it's a big deal for them.

I'm still flumoxed at how Haley and Casey got to this point. In the interview, Mayfield Jr said he invited his friends as well as our two Jazzheads to perform in a show that obviously means alot to him...

I'm not sure it can be said enough how honored they must feel to be included, especially from a one off performance for someone that had no clue who they were or that they were 'Idol Finalists' at all ...

Think about it, the impression they must have left on him for him to invite them......

Haley and Casey are in New Orleans one evening just walk around and decide to go into Mayfield's club. Nonchalantly she gets up and starts singing, earns his approval and then gets invited to play at Carnegie Hall. Mind you this is Mayfield's first time also.Playing there. Come on man that is not a coincidence. A higher power, fate, or God Almighty working in Haley's behalf. The woman is blessed.
