Haley in Las Vegas - December 6th, 7th, 8th

Tusk, I'm a sucker for some Led Zeppelin and just spent a pleasurable half hour listening to one of the greatest RnR records of all time (to quote from a YT comment). When I listen to WIASNB I'm still amazed that Haley would choose that song.

Now that I'm a member here I may as well jump into things. (This is fun. I haven't been on a fansite since the now defunct iHeartReinhart.com went bye-bye.)

As you probably already know, I will be attending Haley's shows in Las Vegas. If possible I will be attending all three nights--even though I have closing shifts at work on two of the nights (anything for Hales!) I'm looking forward to meeting Tusk tomorrow night, as well as at least one other Halien I know from Twitter. I already made a trial run to the Cosmopolitan the other day. It is a pretty nice place and the Chandelier is beautiful looking (the upstairs was closed so I couldn't see what it was like up there).

I'm hoping that Tusk's apparent good luck at these events will rub off on me. If he allows me I might try sticking with him. I will put in that Keith Phelps does remember me from Pet-A-Palooza and Chiara at least knows of me from the few emails we have exchanged. This should be a lot of fun.

Another among the WTF moments Haley provided every week, the drama of thinking she was a goner then to pull out the performances she did to live another week

I have to head to the airport tomorrow @ 2am , so I'll be the dishevelled looking one that looks like he needs sleep....

I'm not even sure what to expect for this...It's wide open how Haley will do this....

She could do a Beatles' covers....other classic rock songs...Jazz songs, along with her LU songs. The play book is wide open at this point to fill 115 minutes a night....

I wonder if she'll repeat sets or do different songs per night? She has to have a pretty big song book to chose from, the question is if Keith and Courtney know them to be able to perform them (I think if John had gone too, that definitely would have opened up to more rock oriented songs like Zeppelin, I'd like to hear another performance of "Spiderweb")

BTW Swansteel, keep us updated on what you can about your lunch with Haley and Funglaw

Well, Swansteel, since your going to Haley's shows, you already will be a popular member here. We are all jealous but happy that several haliens are going. Hope you get some good pictures and videos. along with Tusk and yanni!!

Right, two 45 minute sets and one 25 minute set in the middle = 115 minutes per night for 3 nights.
