Yeah, but the StageIt thing was one of those heat of the moment things. I got caught up in the excitement of it all and then my competitive spirit got the better of me. Hee hee. If I stop buying myself goodies for a couple of months I can do this thing, I'm fairly certain.

Well so far, but Himm just announced this today, so there's plenty of time. I think H4 would want to come. Sugga said before she wanted to come, but I don't see her here very often. She's on twitter though.

I'm thinking this is a go. I avoid LAX like the plague, so I'll probably Southwest it from Burbank to Midway and rent a car, the motel Himm recommended sounds Ok too. I hope to fly out sometime Friday and maybe fly home sometime Sunday, is there any other plans besides the Saturday stuff?

Miguel is a virtual host...he's a figment of Halien imagination. Aka Mr. Questioner...but in reality a computer Trojan that lives off Halien life blood. His stealth drone could make an appearance though...anything is possible. Considering it is Chicago, his green card should be accepted everywhere!

Yes Yanni, To make it worth the trip, there will definately be plans other than the Saturday Night Main Event. Sunday will likely be an all-day party or a field trip to an event on Chicago's Lakefront, in which case the Meet & Greet Party can be Saturday afternoon as people are arriving. I'll have to verify when the Reinharts might be available to join us for the party. Monday (Labor Day) might be a brunch before the final party-goers leave for the airport or a drive home. So if it's a short flight or drive it could be done Saturday morning but a long flight or drive would probably give a more rested day if you arrived Friday Night.

I will probably give my address to the party by private message to all Haleyfans.com people that are planning to come and not make it a public announcement. I'm sure the IDF & Facebook people will make an announcement of the main event but I think it best if we keep the party to less than 30 people....or we shift it to Haley's former workplace: The Wheeling Aquatic Center, but somehow I doubt if many of us look good in Bikinis...I sure don't but if I get real drunk, who knows? I have a Hot Tub in my screen porch. My backyard & detention area can have volleyball, croquet, miniature golf (featuring a Haley Anthem hole), outdoor jumbotron showing Haley's journey to stardom (also indoors), sound system, beer & drink cooler, grilling, and general chatter. There may even be a best Captain Dinkens Yell contest.

This is going to be so much fun!! It's great there are quite a few of us so close to the Reinhart action capital of America AKA ChiTown.

In 2007, I flew to Nashville to meet another AI, Melinda Doolittle and also meet a bunch of fans (which I've posted about) it was an amazing good time, and I am still very close to a few of them.

I really really wish I could meet you all join in on the fun . I live close to the Wheeling area but will be in California that weekend (why or why that weekend)

I never watched Idol before S10 but have caught a few of Idolology videos with Melinda and Slezak who are both fans of Haley. She seems like a very nice down to earth person.
