Tusk if you drove under a sign that said iPass lanes the car company may backcharge you. normally with an iPass the tolls are $0.50 but the cash lanes are twice that at a buck on the Tristate I-294 to Wheeling. Guess I shoulda mentioned that. I told Buzz that tolls can be paid online if you missed one and avoid a penalty.

You guys ready for a big day tomorrow? after 8 months of planning it will all be over before you know it. Oh well the memories will last a lifetime.

The ipass sign is above you as drive past it. If you were on 294 (tollway) then you went thru it.

Up early here in Chi-Town...enjoying a lovely large coffee here at the Buffalo Grove McDonalds waiting to pick up Captain Dinkens at 7 am for 9 holes of golf. We (Buzz & Mrs Buzz) had a nice time last night with Himm...took the Himm Express to the Navy Pier (only 2 hrs by car) and the Captain called it right on the button beforehand. As we left Wheeling looking to the North, the clouds looked a little dark. Well, it followed us right downtown as the storm hit just after we stepped onto the pier to check out the SeaDog boat we were going to take a cruise on. It was an exciting lightning & ominous sky show, but the boating excursion was out. Instead we had a wonderful meal at Harry Caray's restaurant...loved the clam chowder and the whole sports ambiance.

Anyway, the Captain was a great host and we met Mrs Himm afterwards. Off to the links...a little set-up w/Himm afterwards for the big shindig, and then Bob Chinn's for lunch...Buzz reporting live from Chi-town!

Glad you made it in okay (and you found Swan without too much trouble). I hope everyone did, it sucked the weather decide to erupt and delayed everyone's plans. But today and tomorrow should make up for it - have a blast!

Pouring rain and thunderstorm this morning......I looked at the "hourly" forecast and it says it should be sunny by 6 and clear at night for concert.
