Halien Party - Chicago, Labor Day weekend, 8-31-13

Is it just me or did it seem like Haley was losing her voice a little on Sunday? I noticed it when I was talking to her after the show on Sat. I could tell they were all really tired from everything

Sunday was very fun (from what I can remember). I must admit, I had 1 too many Red Apple Ales, which are incredibly tasty Buzz! Thank you for the introduction. I was glad to bring the DJ setup and with all that you guys did to make this happen, Im just happy I could contribute. I enjoyed playing "Haley" AKA Horse (even though I should have gotten 1st instead of 2nd. Buzz is just too good). :-) and Catchphrase with Swan and Nug. Feel free to inform me of anything you guys remember of me being bonjojet. Lol. I remember when Haley arrived. :-)~ The rest is a mystery!

She always has a rasp in her voice that varies in degrees. The only time it was really apparent to me that her voice was a little stressed was in Vegas on the third night. Then again, we who were there all three nights felt the effect of the smoke on our throats. Imagine how that feels for a singer.

On the other hand, also in Vegas, we were told that Haley has a regimen she goes through before the performance to prepare her voice. She's smart enough to take care of her voice.

This was Himm's idea of a score card for our karaoke contest. Scary isn't it? I'm glad that we didn't have it. .. hehe Bonojet had to leave at 6:30pm and took his microphone and equipment with him. So that was that!

Well, Mr. Bonjojet , you were very friendly to everyone and fun. Told jokes and did funny impersonations. Haley got a kick out of you and she was laughing at your impersonations. So all was good! And thank you for providing us with our entertainment for the day (I mean the music) hehe

I had all 14 Listen Up Name That Tune cards on a dozen stacks with "WASTED TEARS" as the first song in the stack of cards that were torn apart to separate them - so since we didn't actually play that game instead of "WASTED TEARS" (like wasted sad eyedrops) I now call those cards "WASTED TEARS" (like wasted torn aparts or the other pronounciation of Tears)

....so you don't remember proposing to Haley.......then Angie......then Patti? I'm sure your fiance will understand...hopefully Derrick has your back.

I forgot to warn you about those Apple Ales...they go down real easy. Nice thing about them is you get your daily supply of apple, a little buzz and no hangover...none! If you notice in the photos, Haley enjoyed one and then got her dad and mom to try one. It was a Reinhart Apfelwein...the German word for cider.

Bonojet, you were great! Thanks for contributing so much. Now work on that jump shot, so you're ready for our next round of 'Haley'.
