RE: Postmodern Jukebox

Alisan is a better vocalist than Morgan, IMO. (She doesn't touch Haley. But very few do.) She's one of the best technical vocalists to ever appear on either show (I'm not even a huge fan), and PMJ is lucky to have her if they get her for more than 1 song. Her tone isn't for everyone (neither is Haley's), but that doesn't mean she's not a powerhouse.
Haley is a once in a generation talent, IMO. She's one of the best vocalists I've ever heard. But being able to land a vocalist like Alisan is good for PMJ. IMO, their views have been decaying a bit because their talent hasn't been as strong as it previously was.

RE: Postmodern Jukebox
A few months back Scott posted about the new PMJ club on the cruise ship Eurodam, which at the time was cruising southeast Alaska.
Jesse was posting picts and clips back in Sep as he was one of the PMJ players performing in this venue. Lisa Gary was also posting and singing on the cruise. I just ran across them.

I'm blown away by my co-workers on this cruise gig. Very different than the experience of a Postmodern Jukebox tour, where we perform one set list with subtle variations, this group is doing 3 unique sets every night of the week. We've worked our way up to about 75 tunes in the book and we're still climbing. Dani Armstrong, Lisa Gary & Mykal Kilgore, yes just 3 singers, are bringing it SO hard right now. The band is amazingly talented and hard working... I'm inspired, and tired.

Impromptu performance of "At Last". A total treat to sing w/piano virtuoso Jesse Elder on the new Postmodern Jukebox Eurodam stage!
