Merlin's Music Thread
This is a fun subforum to only be discovering now...

So I was leafing through the Music Videos thread and a lot of the stuff in there was really old. And since I know that I'm easily one of the younger posters here and LOVE sharing music I thought it'd be a good idea for me to help inject this forum with some newer music. The purpose of this thread is for me to be able to hopefully introduce some new artists to people here and maybe generate some conversation about newer music.

I'll probably try to have a big post about a different artist every few days.

And even if no one really follows this, this is also just a good way for me to reflect on my tastes and maybe rediscover some stuff I'd forgotten about. Smile

The genres for what I'll post will be wildly inconsistent, but there won't be country.

Benjamin Clementine

He's released two EPs, Cornerstone and Glorious You, and one LP, At Least for Now. I absolutely love him. But I don't think any description I could write would do him proper justice so I'll leave the music to speak for itself.

Ditto from me -

If I join in I'll try to keep it to music put out in the last 5 years (lol 5 years ago:that might be a LONG time for someone 20 years old -- I'll try to keep it to 3 years haha)

Lindsey Stirling

Electro violin and dancing while performing. Basically perfection.

Electric Guest

Indie pop with falsetto male vocal. Honestly don't know what to say about them really other than that they're great and that their debut LP is fantastic.

And here's their full album:
