What a night, I got just I wanted as far as song choice, new covers... would have been much less if she sang the same songs we'd heard before.
We had 30 in our group, 1/10 th of the audience, there are things I could say about the performances, but I'd rather accentuate the positive. Let's just say, once the light was turned on, and it was Haley's turn to perform, she proved what a professional she was. Such great performances working with musicians she wasn't necessarily familiar with and arrangements that were different, but you could never tell.
The band was actually quite good. They had another guest singer, I don't recall his name, but his tone was well suited to sing Sinatra songs. By the end of the night, it was clear that many more who were there, apart from our group, were there to see Haley.
I got to talk to her a few times, mentioned I was seeing Morgan James in a couple days, she smiled and said she was glad that I'm also supporting others (I think Morgan and her are truly good friends

).
By the end of the night, you could tell she was filled with positive vibes as every other person that passed us told her she was 'incredible' 'amazing', where could we find more about you? A stark contrast to the beginning of the shows, where she could walk around while the other performers were singing, and not be stopped as much as she was by the end of the night. Safe to say, most everyone who heard her were new fans. I'm not sure the attendants who didn't know of her, were prepared for the performances they were about to witness... she really won the night, more fans, more Haliens
Her year sounds ridiculously packed, it's mind boggling that she's set alot of this herself, she said the change happened when she made the decision to take matters into her own hands. I got some questions answered, but in true Haley fashion, the timing to reveal some of the things she's hoping to do has to be right, so it's best to leave it to Haley to present them in her own time and her own way.
I spent my time pre show finding a good location to shoot from, one that wasn't in other's way, and might have less traffic. Even so, the monopod came through again, as I set it above most people's heads so I was able to avoid most people that walked in front of me, but the lens didn't pick up (although one... 'guy' saw I was recording and decided to make a peace side right in front of my lens

)
Anywho, alot of happy patrons, a very enjoyable show with a very friendly and social group. Again, I think Haley appreciated seeing familiar faces in the crowd.
Highly enjoyable, and great to get in touch with Haley again. I told her I'd see her again, next week
