Looks like Haley has confirmed that "Lover Girl" is going to be on the EP. 

Technically yes, but it was leaked by one of the producers at Sunset Sound on his Instagram story.  When Haley found out, she had him delete it.....  So it wasn't intended to be 'confirmed'....

I actually thought they were going to record "Off the Ground" which Haley did reveal was a song, maybe the title of the upcoming EP, especially when she tweeted this after the studio session was done

Don't think Expensive Taste is going to make this EP, as it sounds like she is going in a more R-B, soul, direction.  Maybe on a release where she rocks out more...

I actually think LG was indicating the EP was going in a rock direction, I don't hear R&B, especially if it's anything like Haley's performance of it at the Troubadour, which had an extremely "Rock" vibe.  Initially, I thought including LG in the EP meant the chances of Expensive Taste being on the EP just got better, BUT on second thought, both LG and ET begin w/ whistling which makes them too similar on an EP of approximately six songs, so now I think ET's chances on the EP is actually less w/ the reveal of LG's inclusion.

My guess is she will get out her 'rocker' on this EP setting up her next album to be her Jazz album as we know she recorded "Fever" w/ Damiani last year and all the other songs DD recorded w/ other singers like Maiya Sykes & Aubrey Logan have already been released, but Haley's "Fever" remains in her musical 'vault'

Haley had a zoom meeting today w/ her two Swedish producers of her next EP and it looks like Haley will be on one of Tinsek's projects coming out next week....

Just a few things of note for me. Haley appears to have learned to play the piano and possibly the ukulele, which is pretty interesting. Or maybe she is just playing around with them for the reels??? Also, the first single does sound like it will be a slower song or ballad, which I know a lot of her fans love.

Also the trip to Vegas and the filming of the short film she did with Joshua Schultz (?)---maybe that was for an extended music video of a song she is doing on the EP? Or maybe her music will be part of the soundtrack for the short film?

Just throwing out thoughts here...just excited for some new Haley music this year!

OK. When is the EP coming out? Hoping sooner rather than in 2022!

It's been real quiet online and as it is almost the end of 2021...

IDK. Maybe Haley is taking a social media break, but damn. Why launch a new website and then leave us hanging with just Roll the Dice and the new PMJ collab???

Not trying to be a negative Nellie. Just annoyed at the lack of media attention for both her original and new cover with PMJ...

things we know about Haley:

She has no manager
She's willing to take the hits to go w/o a label, to be independent
Her EP is being produced overseas due to the Pandemic
She continues to have projects coming out, meaning she's doing work behind the scenes to set things up since *she has no manager*, and she's OK w/ that

Haley was basically the last S10 to get into social media, even when she finally did, she was very tentative about it.  If it was up to her she wouldn't do social media except w/ friends, family & associates.

Promotion is low on her totem pole in her list of things to do compared to making music and performing, that's something that happened when she had people doing it for her.  Haley is about her music, not promoting, otherwise she wouldn't have put out all those singles a couple of years ago w/o promoting any of them... "It Aint' Over Til It's Over", "You Send Me" "Bulletproof" etc....

If you've followed Haley since Idol, you know all this.
