3rd straight outstanding Mediabase report for FREE! The Little Single That Could had a +9 spincrease, and is a +27 since Sunday. Minneapolis continues to really spin FREE hard on both HAC and AAA. Haley is scheduled to perform tonight at the KSLive95 concert in the Twin Cities, so expect another HUGE spincrease from there on tomorrow's report. After that? Who knows.

Chart position remains at #28. Rihanna's catching up to her from below, not much falling from above, so Haley will need to keep spincreasing to hold her spot.

On the next graph you post maybe we'll see the FREE line crossing the BTIKM line on its way up (no offense Adam, but this is one instance where crossing the streams would be a good thing, and no crisscrossed sexual orientation innuendoes intended so calm down; It was simply a Ghostbusters joke <that's my story and I'm sticking to it>).

Another excellent day on HAC for the Little Single That Could. "Free" had a +7 daily spincrease, her 4th consecutive day of increased spins, and is now +34 spins since Sunday. Her place on the chart remains at #28, and all looks pretty flat both above and below right now, so not expecting any change for the rest of the week.

One thing to keep an eye on moving forward is Minneapolis. She performed there last night, and if you recall Portland virtually abandoned FREE right after Haley's promo show a couple weeks ago. She cannot afford to have her big Minneapolis whale do the same thing.

On HAC, Haley's Little Single That Could gained one spin from yesterday (674-675), and held steady at #28 on the chart. She's gonna need some new adds soon, as Minneapolis and Grand Rapids, her just visited whales, will likely level off or even decrease spins now that her traveling promo show has come and gone.

Looking ahead at the competition, Alanis has regained momentum, Rihanna and Usher are moving up steadily, as is Grouplove, and this hard charging Phillip Phillips guy is likely gonna be on her sweet, juicy ass in another week or two. From above, Daughtry seems to have peeked and is slowly dipping on his spin count, but not enough for Haley to be within striking distance anytime soon.

They don’t give up on singles that easily. Each single is huge investment, and the label will likely to give up on it only after it exhausts its potential. Here is their most recent example. Interscope released Ellie Goulding's song on HAC in September 2011, the song reached the peak #17 in January 2012, and then it fell and went recurrent. Afterwards, they pushed it on the CHR format and finally it is racing on the HAC charts again 9 months later. Today the same single is #5 on itunes, it sold platinum, and her album is in the top 100 after 15 months since its release. We might be here for a long ride, and it maybe better that way because the long-term success is what we wish for Haley.

I forgot to add to my earlier post that the Ellie's album debuted in the US in March 2011 at #129 on Billboard with sales between 4 and 5K. Today the album sold 300K. It is not gold or platinum, but it is 60 times more than its debut week sales.

I am not saying that Interscope should not release another single, which may have a better potential on the radio. I just think they are experienced enough to figure out the best timing of switch. In my view, this time has not come yet.
