The 16-year-old X Factor alum worked with the duo on their new track, “Runaway”.
“I first ran into the guys outside of a studio about a year and a half ago. We talked about wanting to write together and were finally able to make it happen last summer,” Carly Rose shared of their meeting.
She added, “‘Runaway’ was initially going to be one of my songs but as the guys were working on their new album they asked if they could play around with it and use it on theirs instead. I love how it turned out.”

But the ladies of Fifth Harmony ended up being the breakout stars.
Simon, is a jerk (IMHO), but he is a really smart jerk. I really think that going into the season he knew what he wanted, that there was big market niche for a girl group like 5H. He got the chance to hand pick and mold his group. They all are talented and seem to be really good people, but Simon is the brains and driving force behind their success.
