Halien Party - Chicago, Labor Day weekend, 8-31-13

I've been dreaming up some other potential event scenerios for our
"HALIEN HOMETOWN CELEBRATION:

* Midnight Band playing in Wheeling Park District's Chevy Chase Country Club Ballroom (seats hundreds) with possible guest vocalist Haley Reinhart...

(Hey Buzz...how's that for an early Captain Dicken's yell from 2011?)
* ...with an afternoon Golf Outing there by any Halien Golfers.
* Mother's Day Brunch at the same venue:

* Playtime in Millenium Park & Grant Park - Where Haley performed in both Lollapalooza and the Girl Scout's Gig.
* White Sox vs. Angels games either Friday (Fireworks) Saturday (Paul Konerko Bobblehead) or Sunday night (Mother's Tote bag) Hopefully with Haley singing at least the National Anthem. With a group of 20 or more we get "HALEY REINHART'S HALIENS" displayed on the Jumbotron, a discount on ticket prices, a special section & a gift.
* Meat & Greet in Himm's backyard stadium ("Meat" meaning Burgers & Hot Dogs) while watching Haley reruns in the Jumbotron, likely with the Reinharts in attendance.
* If a miracle could happen - A full Live Performance by Haley Reinhart & Band at either "Viper Alley" (Lincolshire) or the "HOME" Bar (Arlington Heights).
* Racetrack horse-betting Party at Arlington Racetrack where Haley's Hometown Celebration Climaxed two years previously.
* Midnight Band or Trio playing at PS PUB in Wheeling with possible guest vocalist Haley Reinhart

Indirectly. I backed off pushing for mother's day weekend when I didn't get a response three weeks ago, likely because Haley events hadn't been set yet. But I did ask if Haley had any events coming up in Chicago and Harry knew what I was referring to. I'll know when he knows if it's sooner rather than what he knows of later. I assume we shouldn't plan for a major Halien Meet & Greet party without something built around a Haley event or attendance would be less exciting to invest in.

Miguel...can you edit the title of this thread to; "Halien Party Planning - maybe Labor Day weekend"?

I got some info last night that looks like it would fit our dream scenerio for a Halien Meet & Greet Weekend...maybe even better than the Mother's Day Weekend dream plans. Unless something sooner comes up Labor Day weekend would be well worth airfare/gas & lodging to Wheeling for at least 2 days of events involving Haley & Midnight...and it would be dirt cheap but have Gold Value! My new dream also includes maybe enticing Haley with a tip jar to sing the National Anthem in my backyard for about 30 of us Haliens only a few feet away from her prior to the start of the White Sox/Red Sox game from Fenway Park shown on my jumbotron TV scoreboard. Replays of Haley's Idol & Post Idol Performances could also play in my home theatre for the non-sports fans. The other day would involve the first thing I vaguely mentioned above but can't fully disclose until it is made public.

So Labor day is on September, right? (you will excuse me but I´m not from the US and we celebrate labor day on may )....That would be so perfect...I can see myself making the trip all the way from Venezuela to Wheeling Ill. Actually I´m gonna be on vacation in Florida, but I can do a little change of intinerary.... I´m beginning to think it can happen for me
