Haley's (former?) manager states that he is currently unemployed. I wonder what this means...

His boss was Simon Renshaw who managed the Dixie Chicks. Haley seemed to be the only other client. I searched for news of a management change related to the DC, but didn't find one.

Looking for Tour Manager/FOH for a small act going on the road in the US for 4 weeks, from mid-October to mid-November.

Tour Manager will need experience coordinating logistics, schedules and people on national tours. Tour Manager will be responsible for Front of House, advancing all shows with promoters and venue managers, coordinating merchandise handling and all tour accounting (float, per diems etc), show-call procedures with venue staff, development of a daily schedule for band and crew, booking flights, ground, hotels, and oversight of any general issue arising on the road.

2 years of touring experience in the US required.

Must have the ability to mitigate and resolve disputes among band and crew. Must have professional, courteous demeanor with all venue staff at all times.

"Tour Manager" isn't what Derek was a manager of... All 3 of Haley's tour, I talked to 3 Different 'Tour Managers"... Joel during the Better tour, Craig during Better Tour Europe, and Nate (?) during WTS. Derek, did show up at a handful of shows that I know of, On WTS, I saw him at LA and SD, plus I believe he was also at the Minnesota show (his home town), but other than that, I think Derek was 'administrative' more than he was 'tour'

On the 'timing is everything' front, perhaps Concord could refer management they've worked w/ to Haley.... whatever path they (Haley & Concord) take moving forward, I imagine Haley will want to have her house in order first before they start planning out the next stage in their collaboration/partnership

I hope not! I'm sure there are many other Haliens out there that would like some love.

When Barb Barrett asked Haley if a new HOTM had been chosen a week into the next month, Haley's response was: "Yeah...I Think So." Which kinda confirmed to us that Derek also did the selecting usually based on Twitter activity.

I selfishly wouldn't mind my 5 minutes, but since I've yet to go to a concert or even meet Haley at all it won't be happening anytime soon.

Miguel, the fourth HOTM doesn't post on Twitter that much, so I don't think so.... Kindred, Tim, Bryan and many others post more than he does... Many of us are surprised Kindred, one of the longest standing, and most active onlne supporters of Haley, has yet to be chosen

Lisa posts less on Twitter than Miguel does

Kristina posts more about Taylor Swift than Haley....
(To be fair to Kristina, she supports alot of people, just there's not as much activity around Haley as there is around Taylor to tweet about)

Don also rarely posts on Twitter, other than to post his daily affirmation for Haley....also Don proves that you don't have to have met Haley nor have seen Haley perform live to be chosen as HOTM

Carlos only recently came back online to Twitter and hasn't met or seen Haley perform live either....

More males have been selected than females (kinda Haley's fan demographic tbh), there doesn't appear to be a definitive rhyme or reason to the selection recently, but as shown, Twitter activity or whether you've met or seen Haley perform live are not necessarily determining factors

Derek, the times I've talked w/ him and via email feels mostly administrative, I'm fairly sure Haley has more people than he to work for/with Haley. When I saw Haley in LA for the Better tour, I talked to a woman about not receiving notice for the next day's San Diego show. She instructed Derek to get on top of that, then told me she would personally text me the time .... My last contact w/ the management, I was replied to by a different person, a female. Derek is one person we know of, there are probably more....though if they all worked for the same management company, they may no longer be working for Haley either....SRMGT is still listed on Haley's web page for contact info.... perhaps the management company will be bought out and absorbed into another company?

Ps... I just remembered, first time I was aware of Derek was when I went to the PMJ show w/ Rachel in LA (Derek stood out, not only because he was taller than the rest, but I thought it odd that he wore a red and white plaid shirt to a VIP event....) The VIP was massive (as you might guess in LA) but Rachel and I waited to talk to Haley first. Unlike the other PMJers who were socializing, Haley was talking to a small group of people, including Derek (it actually appeared like Haley was instructing them, by the body language). There were four, maybe five women in that group.

When Haley was finally done talking to them, she came towards us and said, "That's my management team".... none of them was who I spoke to in LA, she was older, the women in that group looked to be younger, around Derek and Haley's age....

So I guess it could be implied that she has/had a management 'team' rather than one manager
