I'm hoping when they release the single she'll do a publicity tour because she would likely come to my area since it's a major market. And that raises the possibility of seeing her perform live before she's a huge crowd draw. How's that for positive thinking?

I'm beginning to think that the release date for Haley's debut single, if we don't count BICO, must have been pushed back somewhat for some reason.

Her parents said two weeks and Monday will be the fifteenth. Idol debuts on the 18th. I think we'll see it before then.

The Stefano thing is currently clogging up the media reports about her. I've wondered if that would affect their timing.

Could this be a strategic move by her management company? Somebody posted in IF regarding something of this nature. Casey get signed to a record company, then James gets married, then Haley and Stefano are revealed to something that we already knew and then Haley has her single coming out any day. All these things are coming together. Is it coincidental? I don't know. I just thought it was interesting to find for factors all coming together at the same time. Just a thought.

I rack that up as idle speculation. I don't believe the management company controlled the timing of those events or had James leak news of the H-S relationship in the middle of a 5-minute interview. None of these things has generated much buzz outside the Idol bubble. Even inside it attention seems to have waned as people await the start of the new season.

So...news of Casey's signing on Tuesday. Details of Stefano's signing late Wednesday (which equals Thursday in the new cycle). I'm going with Friday or Monday then for news about Haley's new single being released.

I'm not sure releasing the single the same week that Season 11 begins is a good strategy...but what do I know.

The lack of news about Haley´s single is somehow discouraging...everybody seemed to be in hiding.... Sad
